Animax Designs is a company whose focus is the design, construction and production of custom puppets and animatronics for numerous commercial, educational and entertainment clientele. The interior spaces are arranged to educate the visitor of the puppet creation process, and the exterior of the facility was designed to provide a dynamic appearance that reflects the nature of the business within. A large screened billboard wall masks the entrance and acts as a stage front for the production occuring beyond. The building encourages visual interaction with visitors and passersby and supports the pedestrian scale along the street. The courtyard created by the building forms provides an area for puppet displays which will enhance the experience for events planned to be held in the space.
